Jacques Pepin Fast Food My Way: Sunny Delights

I love all of Jacques Pepin's shows. It's fun to watch and if you follow the recipe and the instruction, you will get tasty dishes.

The Master of Technique is at it Again
Jacques Pépin is one of the leading culinary educators of our time. His books, videos, and live demonstrations teach the all important Techniques, and he does it in this series of videos that are his PBS show, with a full meal each time.

I can't imagine I'm going to like a tomato tartare, but I Will try it some time. I hardly ever come across a dish of his that I don't like, no matter what my initial impression. (His Cassoulet is a notable exception - however, the dish was good, it's just not a real cassoulet.)

An easy, quick pea purée will make a good side in many menus.

Mussels. Hmmm. Must admit I was very dubious about this one. I'm pretty rigid about my mussels...steamed in a shallot, garlic, white wine bath, served in the shell, baguette to,dip in the sauce from the steaming...and frites. Well, I tried Ina Garten's mussels with garlic/saffron mayonnaise,...
