Great video of Jacques. I've improved my cooking techniques thanks to his guidance. Occasionally he mentions his experiences with Julia and work at Howard Johnson, a nice reference from the past.

Egg & Tomato Gratin! I almost didnt watch it...what I would have missed. :o/. Not only did it turn out to look interesting, but I even made it, and it was so quick, easy, and Wonderful.
Arborio Rice with Onions & Mushrooms: many interesting comments on both rice cooking methods, and mushrooms in general. Turns put much like a risotto, but much easier.
The Diver Scallops Stuffed with a sort of pesto made me realize there would be no end of possibilites for stuffing. Something I can do over & over without "repeating" the menu. These are served on a bed of the rice.
His mother's Cream Salad is a must try...tonight!
Caramelized Pineapple Spears have given me a multitude of ideas, as well. Not just for dessert!
